Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Integration Engineer to design, support, monitor, and maintain enterprise integration solutions across internal and external systems. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in EDI technologies, IBM Integration products, or Azure Integration Services, along with solid database, Linux, and communication protocol knowledge.

The role requires working closely with business and technical teams to ensure reliable, secure, and scalable integration services while supporting production operations and driving continuous improvements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, maintain, and support enterprise integration solutions.
  • Implement and troubleshoot EDI transactions and data transformations.
  • Develop and maintain integrations using IBM Transformation Extender (ITX/WTX) or Azure Integration Services.
  • Monitor integration platforms and proactively resolve issues to ensure system availability.
  • Analyze and troubleshoot production incidents, perform root cause analysis, and implement preventive measures.
  • Work with databases to query, validate, and troubleshoot integration-related data issues.
  • Configure and support communication protocols such as AS2, SFTP, FTPS, HTTP, HTTPS, and FTP.
  • Collaborate with application, infrastructure, and business teams to deliver integration solutions.
  • Create technical documentation, operational procedures, and support guides.
  • Participate in on-call support and incident management activities when required.

Required Qualifications

Integration Technologies

Experience in one or more of the following areas:

IBM Integration & EDI

  • IBM Transformation Extender (ITX/WTX)
  • EDI standards and formats:
  • ANSI X12
  • EDIFACT
  • RosettaNet
  • XML
  • SAP IDocs
  • Fixed-length and delimited file formats

OR

Azure Integration Services

  • Azure Event Hub
  • Azure Functions
  • Azure Service Bus
  • Azure Logic Apps
  • Azure Cosmos DB
  • Kusto Query Language (KQL)
  • Azure certification is highly desirable

Technical Skills

  • Strong SQL development and troubleshooting skills
  • Oracle Database knowledge
  • Linux/Unix administration and troubleshooting
  • Understanding of integration communication protocols:
  • HTTP / HTTPS
  • FTP / FTPS
  • SFTP
  • AS2
