About the job Experience and Interface Designer
Primary Responsibilities
- Design user-centered interface for the client.
- Create intuitive navigation systems for live and historical content
- Develop accessibility-compliant designs meeting client's digital service standards
- Design mobile-responsive interfaces optimized for various devices and screen sizes
- Create user journey maps and interaction flows for different user personas
- Conduct usability testing and iterate designs based on stakeholder feedback
- Ensure design consistency with client's digital identity and branding guidelines
Required Experience and Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years experience in UX/UI design for government digital services
- Proven track record designing accessible interfaces compliant with WCAG 2.1 AA standards
- Experience with Singapore Government Design System and digital service standards
- Knowledge of government user research methodologies and stakeholder engagement processes
- Understanding of client's user needs and constraints
- Proficiency in design tools including Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, and prototyping platforms
- Experience designing for real-time applications and data-intensive interfaces
- Knowledge of multilingual interface design and cultural considerations for diverse user groups
- Familiarity with government approval processes for design and branding compliance
- Experience conducting user testing within government security environments
