Software Engineer

We are looking for a Software Engineer to join our engineering team to solve business problems and transform architectural concepts into production systems across our full technology stack. You'll build and maintain in-house platforms, infrastructure, integrations, APIs, Lambda functions, and both backend and frontend applications while ensuring governance and compliance standards. You'll also play an active role in raising the bar on engineering practices across the team.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain in-house platforms, infrastructure, integrations, APIs, Lambda functions, and backend/frontend applications.
• Translate architecture and business requirements into scalable production systems.
• Implement secure, scalable, and compliant software solutions.
• Ensure governance, security, and compliance standards are met.
• Build and maintain cloud infrastructure and serverless applications on AWS.
• Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Participate in CI/CD implementation and deployment using GitLab.
• Work with SQL databases and web server technologies (IIS, Apache, or similar).
• Contribute to improving engineering standards, best practices, and code quality across the team.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to solve business and technical challenges.

Qualifications / Requirements

• Architecture & Compliance
• Proven ability to translate high-level concepts into scalable technical implementations
• Experience implementing security controls and compliance requirements in production
• Understanding of authentication, authorization, encryption, and audit logging
• Familiarity with compliance frameworks and regulatory requirements
• Experience with system integration and event-driven architectures

Technical Capabilities

• 5+ years full-stack software engineering experience
• Strong proficiency in backend technologies (C#, Java, Node.js or similar)
• Strong proficiency in frontend frameworks and libraries (React, Vue, jQuery, CSS or similar)
• Strong proficiency in IaC (Terraform, etc.) on AWS
• Strong proficiency in CI/CD pipelines with GitLab
• Hands-on experience in AWS with experience in EC2/RDS and other serverless workloads.
• Experience with IIS, Apache Server or similar web server technologies
• Experience with SQL databases
• Understanding of RESTful API design and microservices architecture
