Scrum Master

As a Scrum Master, you will play a key role in enabling Agile teams to deliver high-quality software solutions while fostering a culture of collaboration, continuous improvement, and operational excellence

Responsibilities

Agile Delivery & Team Facilitation

• Facilitate Scrum ceremonies including Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, Retrospectives, and Backlog Refinement sessions.
• Coach and mentor Agile teams on Scrum principles, Agile methodologies, and best practices.
• Foster a high-performing, self-organizing team environment.
• Ensure Agile processes are followed and continuously improved.

Stakeholder & Product Collaboration

• Work closely with Product Owners to maintain a healthy, prioritized backlog.
• Support sprint and release planning activities.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, architects, developers, QA engineers, and operations teams to ensure successful delivery.
• Facilitate communication between technical and business teams.

Delivery Management

• Track sprint progress, team velocity, and delivery metrics.
• Identify, manage, and remove impediments affecting team productivity.
• Escalate risks, dependencies, and blockers when necessary.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives through actionable retrospectives.

Agile Transformation & Coaching

• Promote Agile mindset and servant leadership principles across teams.
• Coach teams toward higher Agile maturity.
• Drive transparency, accountability, and continuous learning.
• Collaborate with other Scrum Masters, Project Managers, and Agile Coaches across DHL global teams.

Requirements

Mandatory Skills

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Agile software delivery environments.
• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Scrum Master supporting software development teams.
• Strong understanding of Scrum, Kanban, Lean, and Agile frameworks.
• Experience facilitating Agile ceremonies for cross-functional teams.
• Must be experienced in handling IT projects
• Background/hands-on in development is a plus
• Must be flexible to handle meetings on different time zones
• With positive character that can handle pressure and communicate well with senior managers and directors
• Experience managing distributed/global teams.
• Proficiency with Agile tools such as Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, or similar platforms.
• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.

Preferred Skills

• Certified Scrum Master (CSM), Professional Scrum Master (PSM), SAFe Scrum Master, or equivalent Agile certification.
• Experience working within DevOps and Cloud environments (AWS, Azure).
• Experience supporting microservices-based applications.
• Exposure to ITIL Service Management practices.
• Prior experience in logistics, supply chain, transportation, or enterprise-scale environments is an advantage.
