About the Engagement
This is a UX research role embedded within an established e-commerce team at a large software company. The team's work is fast-paced and primarily evaluative: quick-turn usability and concept testing that informs decisions on a short cycle.
The research scope centers on the company's website and software license purchasing pathways — how people explore the site, engage with marketing, and move through to purchase. The role pairs qualitative testing with behavioral analytics data, and uses AI workflows to keep pace with the volume of work.
Responsibilities
Plan and run quick-turn usability studies and concept tests on website, marketing, and purchasing experiences
Turn findings into clear, actionable recommendations and deliver them on a fast cycle
Use behavioral analytics data to inform what gets tested and to give qualitative findings quantitative context
Build and apply AI workflows to accelerate research planning, synthesis, and reporting
Partner with stakeholders across the team to scope incoming research requests
Minimum Qualifications
5+ years of UX research experience
Demonstrated experience running quick-turn usability testing and concept testing in a fast-paced environment
Hands-on experience with behavioral and digital experience analytics tools such as FullStory or similar
Experience implementing AI workflows for research — able to describe specifically where AI accelerates the work and where human judgment stays in the loop
Experience researching website or purchasing/conversion experiences
Excellent communication skills — able to synthesize quickly and present clearly to diverse audiences
Preferred Qualifications
Background in software license e-commerce, conversion, or funnel research
Experience partnering with Marketing stakeholders
