Dispute Resolution Senior Associate Solicitor (Office/Hybrid)

The Firm

Our client is a regional firm with 5 offices based across east London and west Essex. The firm enjoys a strong reputation in the dispute resolution sector.

The firm are looking to expand their dispute resolution team and require a 5 year + PQE Senior Associate Solicitor to maintain the existing high level of service presently provided to clients.

This is a great opportunity for a litigation solicitor to slot into a department. The firm is looking for a candidate who can hit the ground running on a diverse range of litigation matters to include landlord and tenant work, contentious probate, debt recovery and a fair amount of property litigation work involved within the caseload.

The solicitor will run a caseload on an autonomous basis and will provide assistance to the Head of Department.

The Role

Civil Litigation

• Property disputes
• Landlord and Tenant disputes (commercial and residential property)
• Professional Negligence
• Debt Recovery
• Company/contractual disputes

Support

The solicitor will benefit from support of paralegals and trainee solicitors as required.

Candidate Characteristics

• Demonstrate a high standard of legal and procedural knowledge
• Strong IT skills and familiarity with case management systems preferable (Clio)
• Excellent communication skills
• Desire to progress and improve both individually and as a firm
• Appreciation of the need to nurture relationships for work generation purposes and participate in business development activities
• Goal orientated individual with a desire to grow their client base
• Ability to take initiative, work independently and effectively self-manage where required
• Demonstrate a flexible approach to meet the changing demands and priorities of the Department
