About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Equipment Engineer to manage and support all aspects of equipment and facility operations within our cleanroom environment. This is a critical, hands-on role enabling seamless R&D and production workflows within a fast-growing technology company at the forefront of semiconductor innovation.
Youll be instrumental in upgrading, maintaining, and enhancing equipment and facility systemsensuring long-term operational stability and scalability.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead cleanroom infrastructure development to support R&D and production scaling
- Execute equipment upgrades from design to deployment
- Troubleshoot breakdowns and implement effective corrective and preventive actions
- Drive continuous improvement projects to optimise reliability and scalability
- Create and maintain preventative maintenance plans and technical documentation
- Install, commission, and qualify new tools and systems
- Develop troubleshooting protocols to minimise downtime
- Oversee ongoing facility system maintenance with minimal operational disruption
- Spearhead cleanroom upgrade initiatives in line with evolving production needs
Qualifications & Experience
- Hands-on experience in equipment engineering within a semiconductor or chemical manufacturing environment
- Strong knowledge of electronic and mechanical systems
- Demonstrated strength in troubleshooting and root cause analysis
- Degree or HND in Engineering or a related Scientific discipline (or equivalent vocational experience)
- Proven track record in equipment maintenance and process support
- Confident communicator with strong verbal and written
- Experience or familiarity with fluid dynamics or thermal modelling (preferred)
- Forklift license is desirable
