::: KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES :::
Offshore IT Service desk Support
- Perform offshore regular Preventive Maintenance and IT projects or upgrades for IT systems and clients includes Computer/Laptop, Network devices and Server.
- Perform incident, service request and daily operational tasks.
- Perform onsite or remote support for offshore locations for troubleshooting through diagnostic techniques and pertinent questions.- Analyzing and assigning incident/request then assigning/escalating to appropriate IT support personnel.
- Coordinate with IT Staff for any restrictions or operational restraints affecting the execution of services for offshore.
- Report back to clients and contact staff on job progress and close out.
- Perform an upgrade or small project to end-user devices, operating system, Microsoft Office and standard applications and tools as assigned.
- Track all inventory and update asset management database on Inventory system.
- Managing Service desk Service Level Agreement (SLA) to meet company standard.
- Generating weekly report and database for annual trend analysis.- Liaise with users, DTS teams, vendors, service providers, third-parties in regard of IT service per Companyงs instruction on a regular basis.
Technical Support
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and technologies relevant to Digital Technology and Solutions (DTS) in oil and gas industry.
- Participate in technical discussions with clients and vendors to understand their requirements and propose an appropriate solution.
- Resolve service disruptions and disruption and maintain level of user satisfaction.
- Contribute or participate to knowledge sharing and training within the team and user productivity/experience.
Health, Safety, Security & Environment (HSSE)
- Ensure adherence to all relevant HSSE procedures, instructions, and controls.
- Ensure all offshore computers and servers have approved antivirus and OS patches installed.
- Respond to security violations and incidents raised by the IT Security team.
BCP
- Provide additional on-site service to support peak demands or Business Continuity Plan (BCP) Situation.
Continuous Improvement
- Contributes to the identification of opportunities for continuous improvement of Client Support services, processes and practices considering of best practice, improvement of business processes, cost reduction and productivity improvement.
:: QUALIFICATIONS :::
Knowledge & Qualifications:
- Bachelor's in computer engineering, Computer Science, Information System or other related field, or equivalent work experiences.
- Knowledge of Microsoft OS, Office applications and licensing (Microsoft certificate is preferable)
- Knowledge of IT security principles and best practices- Thorough understanding of the IT industry and latest technology
Experience:
- At least 3-5+ years of experience in IT general support or technical support.
- Experience with offshore communication systems (network, voice, satellite, radio, point-to-point).
- Experience in ITIL ITSM, Vendor or Third-party Management, License Management, or IT Asset Management would be advantage.
- Offshore working experience in oil and gas industry is highly advantage.

Work Condition:
- Enjoy a dynamic on-site work environment, 5 days a week.
- The role involves offshore travel and work on an occasional basis (approximately 30–40%)
