We are seeking an inspirational and results-driven Team Leader to manage our Business Success Specialist team the vital first touch-point for our potential customers.

You will be responsible for leading, coaching, and scaling a high-performing team ("The Pride") of Outbound Sales Consultants. Your success will be measured by the team's efficiency in qualifying leads, its ability to generate new business from our existing customer base, and the rapid progression and success of your team members.

Your Pivotal Role: Leader & Coach

You will play a pivotal role in our success by:

  • Driving a high-performance culture focused on engaging businesses, asking insightful questions, and efficiently connecting customers with our expert Brokers.

  • Owning the team's resultsensuring conversion targets, call metrics, and quality standards are consistently met and exceeded.

  • Accelerating career growth for your team members, transitioning them from first contact roles into full-service account management/broker positions within a clear timeframe.

️ What You'll Be Accountable For:

  • Team Management & Coaching: Lead daily stand-ups, conduct regular 1:1 coaching sessions, and perform call reviews to elevate the team's sales skills, product knowledge, and objection handling techniques.

  • Performance & KPI Ownership: Set, track, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) for lead qualification (inbound) and new enquiry generation (outbound), ensuring seamless handover to the Brokerage team.

  • Training & Development: Own the onboarding and continuous training for new and existing team members, particularly in product acumen, SME issues/pain points, and effective communication of our solutions.

  • Operational Excellence: Optimise team workflows, CRM usage (e.g., Salesforce), and communication scripts to maximise efficiency and conversion rates.

  • Recruitment & Retention: Work closely with leadership to interview, hire, and retain top talent for the team, fostering an inclusive, passionate, and supportive environment.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Proven Leadership: Experience managing or leading a sales/business development team, preferably in a high-volume call or B2B/SME environment.

  • Sales & Finance Acumen: Strong background in sales, with a genuine interest or experience in the finance, fintech, or lending sector.

  • Exceptional Coach: A track record of developing team members, improving performance, and driving career progression.

  • Data-Driven: Proficient in using CRM and sales data to forecast performance, identify coaching opportunities, and implement process improvements.

  • Communication & Drive: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a self-starter, results-orientated mindset.
