    Location: London based sites only
    (Plant rooms and energy centres, no nationwide travel)

    Salary: £48,500 to £65,000 basic, depending on experience
    Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm
    (Occasional overtime and call-out on a rota basis)

     

    Overview

    We are recruiting an experienced Commercial Gas Engineer to join a well established specialist engineering business delivering planned and reactive works across commercial plant rooms and energy centres in London.

    This is a stable, long term role with a technically strong team, modern systems and a supportive management structure. Engineers are trusted, properly supported and given the time to do the job to a high standard.

    You will not be travelling nationwide. All work is London based, focused on large scale commercial heating and energy centre environments.

    The role

    You will be responsible for:

    • Servicing, maintaining and repairing commercial gas and heating systems within plant rooms and energy centres

    • Carrying out planned preventative maintenance and reactive fault response

    • Diagnosing and resolving complex mechanical and control related faults

    • Working closely with other engineers and supporting junior staff where required

    • Maintaining high standards of safety, compliance and workmanship


    Essential requirements

    • Valid commercial gas ACS qualifications
      (Minimum COCN1 and COCNPI1 or equivalent)

    • TCPC1

    • Booster qualifications

    • Minimum 3 years experience working in commercial plant rooms or energy centres

    • Strong mechanical and building services knowledge, not just appliance level

    • Full UK driving licence
