Overview
We are seeking an experienced Solar PV Electrician to support a social housing Solar PV rollout across the East Midlands and Worcestershire. This is an immediate requirement with ongoing work available for the right contractor.

Key Responsibilities

• Installation and commissioning of domestic Solar PV systems on social housing properties

• AC and DC electrical works including containment, cabling and inverter installation

• Testing, inspection and fault finding

• Completion of electrical certification and handover documentation

• Working in occupied properties with professionalism and strong customer service

• Ensuring all works are carried out in line with BS7671 and site H&S requirements

Essential Requirements

• 18th Edition (BS7671)

• City & Guilds 2391 (Inspection & Testing)

• NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent City & Guilds qualification

• Valid CSCS Card

• Proven experience installing Solar PV systems

• Experience working in domestic or social housing environments

• Own tools and transport

Desirable

• BPEC Solar PV qualification

• BPEC Battery Storage (BESS) qualification
