Boekadoe (boekadoe.nl) is a children’s book subscription service that delivers curated physical books to families, focusing on sparking joy, quality time, and screen-free moments for kids and parents.
Both companies are founder-led, agile, and committed to building brands that connect deeply with their audiences. This role will be split between Promo View (B2B) and Boekadoe (B2C), offering you the opportunity to work across two dynamic businesses with very different audiences: entrepreneurs and parents.
About You
We’re looking for a Creative Marketing Specialist who thrives at the intersection of graphic design and direct response marketing. You feel you are your most amazing you when making designs that perform & ads that convert, creatives that trigger emotions, and visuals that drive action.
You have a strong track record in designing and testing image-based ads for Facebook and Instagram, and you understand how to translate pain points, objections, and desires into compelling ad creatives. You’re confident enough to work independently, proactive enough to bring new ideas, and sharp enough to teach us a thing or two.
Top 5 Objectives (KPIs)
First Month: Produce ad variations based on existing concepts and research, aligned with each brand’s audience.
By Month 3: Independently research target audiences, identify emotional triggers, and design ad creatives from scratch.
By Month 6: Own the creative cycle, from concepting, designing, testing, and iterating ads that deliver measurable results.
Write direct response copy (headlines, captions, hooks) to strengthen ad performance.
Collaborate with the founder to continually refine ad strategies and bring fresh, data-backed creative ideas to the table.
Other Responsibilities
Design and produce direct response ad creatives (mainly image-based, sometimes AI-generated visuals + text overlays).
Translate research insights (pain points, desires, objections) into visual concepts that drive clicks and conversions.
Craft ad copywriting for headlines, hooks, and emotional triggers.
Conduct basic audience and competitor research to guide creative development.
Work with the founder on testing cycles: launch, measure, iterate.
Light media buying tasks (Facebook/Instagram Ads), with guidance from the founder.
Requirements
3 - 5+ years experience in design, ideally with a focus on direct response campaigns.
Strong graphic design skills (Adobe Suite, Canva, or similar tools).
Portfolio showcasing direct response ads (not just brand visuals).
Familiarity with Facebook Ads Manager (running and testing campaigns).
Experience in audience research and translating insights into creatives.
Strong understanding of B2B and B2C marketing dynamics.
Proactive, independent, and able to thrive in a remote, founder-led environment.
Fluent in English; ability to work aligned with CET/EU time zones.
