The role

Atlantico is looking for a Head of Sales who will build on the sites editorial reputation to expand it's commercial operations. The position will encompass all aspects of revenue generation with an initial focus on developing direct relationships with advertising companies and agencies to sell display and branded content packages.

The successful candidate will work closely with the publications founder and director Jean-Sebastien Ferjou to identify opportunities and propose creative solutions for clients that fit within the Atlantico philosophy.

The role demands a hands-on approach to attracting and retaining clients but also includes oversight of relationships with commercial partners such as programmatic advertising providers and others.

The Head of Sales will ultimately also be responsible for developing Atlantico's subscription business, with support from Jean-Sebastien and other colleagues. Other potential revenue streams such as events and bespoke services will also form part of the remit.

Paris-based but ready to travel if necessary

Well connected with French corporate decision-makers

Creative and able to envision and adapt to changes in digital media environment

A strategic planner and multitasker who can oversee all aspects of sales and delivery

A creator of compelling presentations

Strong negotiator who is excellent with numbers and analytics

A brilliant networker

Showing a strong understanding of digital media landscape

A track record of growing revenues and meeting sales targets

Proven ability to mentor and lead a small commercial team as it scales.

Qualifications

At least 10 years in a media or media-adjacent sales role

Native French speaker with English desirable
