Job Title: FISCAM (Federal Information System Controls Audit Manual) Subject Matter Expert
Full-Time/Permanent (Direct Hire)
Location: Kettering, Ohio
Clearance/Background Requirement: Public Trust (or ability to obtain)
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Apply subject matter expertise to evaluate business operations and processes, identifying opportunities for improvement.
- Analyze and recommend technical solutions to enhance business performance.
- Consult across business operations, providing mentorship and specialized knowledge.
- Define software development requirements and advise IT developers throughout the software development life cycle (SDLC).
- Oversee the development, testing, and implementation of technical solutions to ensure alignment with business needs.
- Verify that technical solutions meet defined requirements and compliance standards.
- Review and validate technical documentation including user guides, training manuals, and system requirements.
- Ensure solutions are accurate, reliable, and ready for distribution to end-users.
- Document processes and effectively communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders.
Required Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum 10 years in FIAR/FISCAM practices, policy, and analysis.
- Education: Bachelors degree OR 7+ years equivalent experience.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Hands-on experience with MRO IT systems and related technologies (software, hardware, networks, and cybersecurity design).
- Strong knowledge of applicable laws, regulations, and policies impacting MRO programs.
- Proven expertise in business analysis techniques and processes.
- Demonstrated background in engineering and software architecture design.
- Prior experience as a DevOps Engineer or FIAR/FISCAM Analyst.
- Solid understanding of operating systems and databases.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to evaluate complex information, exercise sound judgment, and recommend effective solutions.
