Job Overview

We are seeking a customer-focused and detail-oriented Loan Support Officer to assist clients throughout the loan application process. In this role, you will serve as the primary point of contact for applicants, providing guidance on loan products, assisting with applications, coordinating documentation, and liaising with the Credit Decision Team to ensure a smooth and efficient customer experience.

The ideal candidate is an excellent communicator with strong organizational skills, a high level of attention to detail, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. Experience in financial services, lending, or customer support is highly regarded.

Key Responsibilities

Client Engagement

  • Contact prospective clients to discuss their financing needs and provide clear information about loan products and the application process.
  • Assist clients in completing loan applications, ensuring all information is accurate and complete.
  • Keep clients informed throughout the application process by providing timely status updates.

Application Coordination

  • Serve as the primary point of contact between applicants and the Credit Decision Team.
  • Ensure all required documentation and supporting information are collected and submitted promptly.
  • Communicate requests for additional information or clarification from the Credit Decision Team to applicants.

Documentation & Verification

  • Review and verify client information to ensure accuracy and compliance with company requirements.
  • Maintain organized and up-to-date records of client communications, documentation, and application progress.
  • Ensure all files are complete and properly documented throughout the loan process.

Customer Service

  • Respond to client inquiries professionally, efficiently, and with a customer-first approach.
  • Provide exceptional service that enhances the client experience and fosters long-term relationships.

Team Collaboration

  • Work closely with the Credit Decision Team to support a smooth and efficient loan approval process.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery and operational efficiency.

Skills & Experience

  • Previous experience in customer service, client support, or loan processing, preferably within the financial services industry.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other business software applications.
  • Knowledge of lending products, credit assessment processes, or financial services is advantageous.
  • Strong problem-solving and organizational skills.
