Role Overview:
We're looking for a detail-oriented Senior Loans Processing Officer to support a New Zealand-based mortgage brokerage. This role involves end-to-end preparation of home loan applications, reviewing supporting documents, and ensuring all submissions are lender-compliant. Youll play a critical back-office role, helping brokers process deals faster and more accurately.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare full loan applications using broker notes and provided client documentation.

  • Accurately input client and deal data into MyCRM and other lender platforms.

  • Review, organise, and label critical documents (ID, payslips, bank statements, S&P agreements, etc.).

  • Perform UMI calculations, affordability checks, and lender-specific servicing assessments.

  • Draft detailed submission notes and file summaries for broker review.

  • Ensure compliance by maintaining clear and accurate digital records.

  • Monitor file progress, flag missing info, and proactively follow up on pending items.

What We're Looking For:

  • Strong written English and exceptional attention to detail.

  • Experience or familiarity with residential mortgage processing (NZ lending experience a plus).

  • Able to work independently in a task-based, remote setting.

  • Comfortable with structured workflows and managing deadlines.

  • Reliable internet connection and availability for NZ time zone support.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, PDF editors, and digital file management.

Nice to Have:

  • Prior use of MyCRM and experience with NZ bank forms.

  • Background in banking, mortgage processing, or financial services admin.

  • Understanding of NZ lender policies, compliance documentation, and servicing rules.
