About the Role

We are seeking a Collections Administrator to provide dedicated support to our Collections team. This role will work closely with the Pre-Legal Officer to manage post-settlement activities, streamline processes, and ensure compliance with Australian collections policies and regulations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Action Proof of Debt requests.
  • Manage Letters of Demand and related follow-ups.
  • Oversee security removals for performing and collections loans.
  • Monitor and manage the team mailbox (legal inbox), ensuring items are actioned, resolved, or appropriately escalated.
  • Coordinate with the Collections team for validation before escalation.
  • Assign tasks to the Pre-Legal Officer as needed, while preventing duplication of work.
  • Support continuous improvement of collections processes.
  • Ensure all activities align with Australian Collections Policies and Regulations, under the oversight of:
    • Australian Securities and Investments Commission (ASIC)
    • Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC)
    • Australian Financial Complaints Authority (AFCA)
    • National Consumer Credit Protection Act (NCCP Act)

What Were Looking For

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Prior experience in collections administration, legal support, or post-settlement processing preferred.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
  • Strong communication skills for internal coordination.
  • Self-motivated and capable of working independently.
