Position Overview:

  • The Service Manager oversees the day-to-day operations of the service side of the business.
  • This role manages service technicians, coordinates scheduling, ensures high-quality work, and serves as a key point of contact for customers after their pool installation.
  • The ideal candidate has experience in the construction trades, strong leadership skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with both crews and customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead, schedule, and supervise the service team responsible for pool covers, filters, maintenance, and post-installation services.
  • Plan daily and weekly service routes to ensure timely and efficient job completion.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to field technicians.
  • Communicate with customers regarding service needs, timelines, and follow-up work.
  • Ensure work is completed safely, professionally, and in line with company standards.
  • Maintain inventory of service materials, tools, and supplies.
  • Assist with hiring, training, and onboarding new technicians.
  • Handle basic customer concerns and escalate complex issues when needed.
  • Collaborate with installation and office teams to ensure smooth workflow and exceptional customer experience.

Qualifications:

  • Experience in construction trades, facilities, mechanical, or related hands-on field required.
  • Prior leadership, crew management, or field supervision experience strongly preferred.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to plan, organize, and manage multiple jobs simultaneously.
  • Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail.
  • Comfortable working outdoors and in a physical, fast-paced environment.
  • Valid drivers license required.
