Industrial Mechanic

Job description:

Duties:

- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on industrial machinery and equipment
- Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical issues
- Fabricate and install new parts as needed
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure equipment is operating efficiently
- Collaborate with other team members to complete projects and tasks
- Provide excellent customer service when interacting with clients
- Perform field service visits to address equipment issues on-site

Experience:

- Previous experience as an Industrial Mechanic or similar role

- Must have Welding experience - TIG and Fusion welding.
- Industrial Machine Mechanic for a full-time position in our shop. Tasks include but not limited to:
* Machinery assembly / trouble shooting / rebuilding
* Blueprint reading
* Steel Grinding / polishing (stainless and carbon)
* Hydraulic assembly / troubleshooting ( Must
* Machining various parts
* Bearing installation/replacement
* Seal assembly (mechanical / lip / packing)
* Gearbox assembly / trouble shooting / rebuilding
* Shaft/motor/gearbox alignment
* Limited electrical wiring (motor/switches)
In addition to the qualifications above, welding skills would be highly desirable but not mandatory.
