Mechanical Project Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking a Mechanical Project Engineer for our downtown Roanoke, VA office. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing HVAC systems for a variety of project types, including educational, civic, arts, and commercial buildings. Strong communication skills, the ability to work in a team environment, and willingness to mentor staff are essential for success in this role.

Responsibilities:

• Design HVAC systems for various project types
• Communicate effectively with team members and clients
• Mentor junior staff members
• Ensure projects are completed on time and within budget

Requirements:

• Licensed Mechanical Engineer in the Commonwealth of Virginia
• 7-10 years of professional experience preferred
• Proficient in design load calculation and energy modeling programs (Trace, ComCheck)
• Experience with Word and Excel
• Proficiency in REVIT preferred
