Land Surveyor

Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Professional Land Surveyor to join our client's team in Griffin, GA. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in Industrial, Commercial, and Site Development projects. This role demands a collaborative individual who can effectively communicate, build client relationships, and contribute to a team-based culture. The Professional Land Surveyor will play a key role in managing the surveying department, supporting the engineering department, and fostering the professional growth of team members.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct and direct land surveys, establishing legal boundaries.
• Prepare and maintain accurate survey documentation (maps, legal descriptions, reports).
• Verify survey data and calculations, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Manage survey teams, including scheduling, training, and development.
• Contribute to project planning and execution within budget and schedule constraints.

Qualifications:

• Georgia Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) license required.
• Minimum 4+ years of relevant land surveying experience.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD or similar survey software.
• Strong mathematical and analytical skills.
• Proven ability to manage survey teams and projects.
• Valid Driver's License.
