Orifarm Group is the largest parallel importer of pharmaceuticals in Europe and the largest supplier of pharmaceuticals in Denmark. Orifarm Group has recently entered into an agreement to purchase a strong portfolio of selected over-the-counter (OTC) and prescription pharmaceutical products sold in Europe from Takeda Pharmaceutical Company Limited. The products acquired from Takeda are a well-known and recognized portfolio and includes a variety of OTC products and food supplements as well as select prescription products. As a result of this acquisition, Orifarm has established a brand-new global organization, based in Copenhagen, to support local teams and drive and grow this new OTC, VMS and RX business area. Category Management     
As part of the Orifarm Generics Division, Orifarm is looking for a Category Manager defining new key opportunities and excellence within OTC-products including categories as calcium, cough & cold and/or allergy.

Calcium represents a significant business across countries and the portfolio will include Rx, OTC and food supplement products. Reporting to the Head of OTC, the Category Manager will define the brand business plan across markets through market planning, market analysis, strategic pricing and positioning.

Furthermore, the Category Manager will be responsible for defining consumer, patient insights and market dynamics. Lastly, ensuring close collaboration with Business Development and the Marketing & Innovation Excellence Center on business development, launches and marketing strategies.

Experience - Category Manager  
The Category Manager needs to have the following experience:

  • Min. Bachelor’s degree in Marketing & Business Administration or similar 
  • Category/brand management experience from consumer healthcare
  • Experience working within OTC, preferably with calcium, cough & cold and/or allergy categories
  • Experience in driving category strategy plans 
  • Skilled in market planning, market analysis, strategic pricing and positioning
  • Experience in commercial product launches 
  • Project management experience
