Head of Electronic Development

Take ownership of product development in electronics
As Head of Electronic Development, you will report to the Director Hardware R&D and lead the Electronic Engineering team. In this position, you will lead, develop, and empower an international team (10 FTEs) and in close collaboration with internal and external stakeholders be responsible for the development of UNEEGs electronics. Furthermore, you will be heading improvements in processes as well as establishing good practice for hardware development. Moreover, you are going to be responsible for tools and methods as well as creating and maintaining the procedure for development of electronics. Management and handling sub-suppliers for electronic development will also be on your agenda. You will be in close collaboration with internal stakeholders such as mechanical engineering, embedded software, system engineering, ASIC development, and marketing to develop the electronic system of UNEEGs new medical devices. Furthermore, you can expect around 10-15 travel days per year (EU/US).

Strong engineering profile with excellent leadership capabilities
It is expected that you have an academic background in electronic engineering or similar with a proven track record in development of embedded systems and hardware design. Moreover, you have experience from the medical device or a related industry, where you have worked with agile principles, project management, and regulatory regulations of medical devices. It is essential that you have previous experience with or possess a great interest in leading others, and that you are fluent in English as well as Danish. You know how to influence, motivate, and bring people together and encourage growth, enhance the ability to innovate, and respond actively to challenges. Personally, you are proactive, enthusiastic, structured, and self-motivated. You thrive in a dynamic and entrepreneurial environment, where innovation, curiosity, and ambition characterize daily life.
