Set the direction for a newly established team!
As Manager of QC Raw Materials at Bavarian Nordic, you will report directly to the QC Director and lead a highly skilled and resolute team. The team handles all raw materials and disposables to support both the drug substance and drug product production of vaccines through the sampling of raw materials, execution of tests, visual inspections, documentation, and evaluation of primary and secondary packaging. As Manager of QC Raw Materials, you will provide scientific input and guidance to your team as well as cross-functionally in the organization. Likewise, you will ensure that all activities follow cGMP and lead or participate in continuous improvements. As the number of occurring projects increases within QC, you will oversee the structuring and coordination of processes to meet the needs and demands of internal as well as external stakeholders.

Strong scientific profile with aspiring leadership potential
We expect you to hold a relevant master's or Ph.D. within life sciences and solid experience in the pharmaceutical industry, where you have worked with analytical methods in a GMP environment. You either have a demonstrated talent to lead a team or you feel motivated by the idea of stepping into a people management position. Personally, you are analytical, pragmatic, and change-oriented, and you are a natural at juggling many different tasks, prioritizing, and keeping a good overview. You thrive in a dynamic working environment in which innovation, curiosity, and ambition characterize daily life.
