Vital role in leading global medical strategy, scientific positioning, and key stakeholder engagement across critical therapeutic areas and product lifecycle stages

As Director, Global Medical Director, you will report to the Senior Director, Global Medical Affairs and be responsible for medical leadership and lifecycle management, including pre-launch, and launch activities for the existing portfolio within iron deficiency and anaemia in women's health conditions and in addition planning and introduction of pipeline medicines within small cell lung cancer. Further, you will take an active approach and be deeply involved in matters concerning medical and therapeutic area knowledge, key opinion leader engagement and medical marketing. More specifically, you will be responsible for medical & scientific knowledge and documentation concerning the therapeutic areas as well as mapping the guidelines and clinical treatment landscape. In addition, you will be providing medical support to pricing and reimbursement submissions, regulatory submission dossiers and commercial partner search and evaluations. Moreover, you will engage and collaborate with external stakeholders including international advisory boards and interacting closely with international KOL's and other relevant scientific societies. Finally, you will be medically responsible in cross functional partner market teams for designated countries, developing medical educational and materials, plan symposiums, provide medical support both internally and externally, and develop promotional materials and activities. All in all, as Director, Global Medical Affairs, you will bridge the gap between medical science and business functions, liaising with Regulatory Affairs, Clinical R&D, Marketing, Market Access and Commercial Partners to align on cross-functional project objectives and strategies.

Experienced Global Medical Affairs professional

We expect you to hold a relevant degree within the field of life science, combined with at least 5-7 year's experience from the pharmaceutical industry, specifically focused on medical affairs ideally from both local/national as well as international level. Finally, your expertise includes the ability to collaborate and take an active approach with a wide variety of internal and external stakeholders, and you excel in meeting timelines and reaching corporate goals.

Personally, you are structured, proactive, responsible, and ambitious with an empathic and respectful mindset. Your ability to foster cross-functional teamwork, coupled with good communication skills facilitates the building of collaborative relationships to achieve common goals. Demonstrating profound organizational and planning skills, you can work independently to drive complex organizational processes. You are characterized by being adaptable and efficient, which enables you to prioritize work in a fast-paced and growing environment. Additionally, you display substantial analytical capabilities and project leadership qualities, including strategic vision, decision-making acumen, and a commitment to fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the team. Finally, you have excellent proficiency in English both written and spoken and you are located in Denmark.
