Orifarm Group is the largest parallel importer of pharmaceuticals in Europe and the largest supplier of pharmaceuticals in Denmark. Orifarm Group has recently entered into an agreement to purchase a strong portfolio of select over-the-counter (OTC) and prescription pharmaceutical products sold in Europe from Takeda Pharmaceutical Company Limited. The products acquired from Takeda are a well-known and recognized portfolio and includes a variety of OTC products and food supplements as well as select prescription products. As a result of this acquisition, Orifarm is in the process of establishing a brand-new global organization, based in Copenhagen, to drive and grow this new OTC and RX business area. Category Management
As part of the Orifarm Generics Division, Orifarm is looking for 3 Category Managers defining new key strategic opportunities and excellence within the following categories: Vitamins, Minerals & Supplements (VMS), Calcium and Pain. Reporting to the VP Marketing, and in close collaboration with local Sales & Marketing, the Category Managers will define the brand strategies for their own category across markets through market planning, market analysis, strategic pricing and positioning. Furthermore, the Category Managers will be responsible for defining consumer, patient insights and market dynamics. Lastly, ensuring close collaboration with Business Development and the Innovation Team on business development and launches, and  close collaboration with the Digital team to identify communication strategies.  

Experience - Category Manager 

  • Min. Bachelor’s degree in Marketing & Business Administration or similar  
  • Solid category/brand management experience from consumer healthcare 
  • Experience working with vitamins & minerals, pain and/or calcium product categories     
  • Strong project management experience  
  • Experience in commercial product launches  
  • Experience in driving product strategy plans  
  • Skilled in market planning, market analysis, strategic pricing and positioning 
  • Experience working in different regions and markets 

Orifarm seeks 3 commercial profiles with solid analytical skills, commercial thinking and ambitious mindsets. The ideal candidates will need a solutions oriented mindset, strong communication skills and strong stakeholder management experience.
