Orifarm Group is the largest parallel importer of pharmaceuticals in Europe and the largest supplier of pharmaceuticals in Denmark. Orifarm Group has recently entered into an agreement to purchase a strong portfolio of select over-the-counter (OTC) and prescription pharmaceutical products sold in Europe from Takeda Pharmaceutical Company Limited. The products acquired from Takeda are a well-known and recognized portfolio and includes a variety of OTC products and food supplements as well as select prescription products. As a result of this acquisition, Orifarm is in the process of establishing a brand-new global organization, based in Copenhagen, to drive and grow this new OTC and RX business area. Innovation Strategy – leading the innovation agenda       
As part of the Orifarm Generics Division and reporting to the VP Marketing, the Innovation Manager will be responsible for leading the global innovation strategy and priorities  for over-the-counter and food supplements products. In close collaboration with Category Management, the Innovation Manager will be responsible for tracking and understanding trends and opportunities both locally and internationally and identify external key strategic partners and suppliers (OTC & FS). This includes close collaboration with external innovation partners to understand trends before others. Lastly, the Innovation Manager will ensure close cooperation with Operations and Business Development, driving innovation into existing business.

Experience - Innovation Manager

  • Preferably, Master’s degree in Innovation, Business or similar  
  • Strong experience within New Business development & Innovation Management 
  • Experience in driving strategic partnerships, preferably within consumer healthcare, FMCG etc.  
  • Solid experience in driving commercial project management  
  • Experience in working and thinking across regions and markets
