The ideal candidate should be a data engineer with expertise in data privacy. They will be responsible for the design and implementation of a data infrastructure that provides standard data connectivity, storage, pipelining, and data integration services.


  • B2 English level or higher.
  • +3 years of experience in data engineering, with a focus on Data Privacy/Data Protection.
  • +3 years of experience with Azure Cloud Portal.
  • Strong understanding of data privacy regulations such as GDPR, CCPA or similar.
  • Experience with data governance frameworks and best practices.


  • Experience with Data Processing/Pipeline tools such as Azure Data Factory, Databricks is a plus.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python is a plus.
  • Any professional certifications encouraged such as Certified Information Privacy Technologist (CIPT), Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Information Security Manager (CISM).
  • Experience in implementing anonymization, pseudonymization, encryption, synthetic data and other relevant privacy-enhancing technologies is required. Experience and familiarity with technological assistance tooling, such as data discovery, data mapping, authorization and access management is desirable.

Scope of Work:

  • Design, implement, and maintain our data infrastructure to ensure data protection and privacy.
  • Collaborate with our data scientists and analysts to provide high-quality data for analysis.
  • Working with stakeholders including cloud infrastructure teams, data teams, governance, and information management officers, to collaboratively design, develop and deploy and support data solutions and related infrastructure
  • Identify potential privacy risks in our data practices and propose solutions to mitigate those risks.
  • Manage and troubleshoot data infrastructure issues related to data protection and privacy.
  • Stay up to date with emerging trends and regulations related to data privacy and incorporate them into our data practices.
  • Use data anonymization, pseudonymization, encryption, synthetic data and other relevant privacy-enhancing technologies (PETs) that preserve and improve data protection and privacy.
  • Interface with other developers and architects in implementing data solutions that include protection and privacy features to protect data assets. Work to align advanced technologies and Privacy by Design principles throughout the systems development lifecycle.
