We're searching for a QA Engineer whos interested in playing in the explosive IT hybrid automation market. Your role enables our software development engineers to ship features with efficiency and confidence while providing the best end-to-end user experience across all platforms. You will accelerate engineering productivity through gray-box testing, tooling, and robust automation frameworks; provide flexible, innovative technologies and services to verify correct system behavior during testing; and validate system requirements during design.
Our client builds dynamic IT automation solutions that transform business IT environments from simple IT task automation into sophisticated, real-time business service automation, helping organizations achieve the highest possible Return on Automation, as they serve some of the world's largest financial, manufacturing, healthcare, travel, transportation, energy, and technology institutions.
The candidate will join our Technology Department in Buenos Aires, Argentina. This will be a remote position, however, quarterly travel to our Headquarters in Atlanta, Georgia, USA might be required for ocassional meetings. The position will report to the Manager of UDMG Quality Assurance.
Requirements:
- B2 English level or Higher for fluent communication in English.
- Proven experience of at least 3 years as a QA Automation Engineer with a focus on API testing.
- Proficiency in Python is required
- Hands-on experience with Robot Framework and Selenium
- Familiarity with Jenkins for CI/CD
- Experience using Git and tools such as VersionOne and Jira
- Experience with Windows & Linux/Unix operating systems
- Knowledge of database technologies: Oracle, MySQL, and/or PostgreSQL
- Strong interpersonal skills and respect for collaborative disciplines
- Ego-free, team-first attitude
Responsibilities:
- Prepare test specifications based on software requirements
- Design, code, and execute both manual and automated test scripts
- Troubleshoot complex software products using systematic tests
- Develop, apply, and maintain quality standards across products
- Prepare comprehensive reports and documentation updates
