#817 - AS400 Developer

Requirements:

• B2 English level (Upper-Intermediate) or Higher.
• At least 5 years of IT experience.
• At least 4 years of experience with AS400 architecture as a Developer.
• Proficient with the IBM i operating system.
• Familiar with user administration and security management.
• Knowledge of DB2 for IBM i, including SQL programming and data modeling.
• Ability to manage batch jobs and troubleshoot problems.
• Strong analytical skills to effectively troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
• Ability to clearly communicate technical information to non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and implement new applications or modify existing ones using languages such as RPG, COBOL, CL, and SQL.
• Provide ongoing support and maintenance for existing AS400 applications, including bug fixing and enhancements.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues; Provide technical support for AS400 systems.
• Collaborate with software developers and IT teams on system requirements and integration needs.
