Ventura Brands Oy is looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Operations Assistant to join our team onsite in Porvoo. In this role, you'll support our daily operations and help us build the next generation of global consumer brands.
About Us
Ventura Brands Oy is a Finnish ecommerce company founded in 2019. We’ve built several global consumer brands, served over 200,000 customers worldwide, and sell our products on Amazon and our own Shopify store (DTC).
Right now, we’re focused on scaling our fastest-growing brand, Silvery®, in the U.S. market. Silvery is a premium bedding brand using patent-pending silver-infused technology that helps hot sleepers stay cool, clean, and comfortable. The brand is growing rapidly and gaining international attention.
In 2025, we are on track to double our revenue compared to last year, and we’re now strengthening our team to support this growth.
Your Role
- Supply Chain Coordination: Place product orders with manufacturers, track shipments, and ensure smooth delivery to Amazon FBA warehouses across multiple countries
- Inventory Management: Monitor stock levels, coordinate restocking schedules, and prevent stockouts that could impact sales
- Customer Support: Respond to customer emails from Amazon and Shopify, resolve issues, and maintain high satisfaction ratings
- Financial Operations: Process invoices, track payments, coordinate with bookkeeping, and maintain accurate financial records
- Process Optimization: Identify bottlenecks in daily operations and suggest improvements to increase efficiency
- Team Coordination: Coordinate with freelancers on content creation, graphic design, and administrative tasks
What We’re Looking For
- Excellent English Skills: Communicate clearly with international suppliers, customers, and team members in written and spoken English
- Strong Organization: Manage multiple active projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines and maintaining attention to detail
- Quick Learning: Master new tools and systems efficiently as our business evolves and grows
- Independent Problem-Solving: Research and implement solutions autonomously rather than waiting for step-by-step guidance
- Reliable Execution: Take ownership of tasks and consistently deliver high-quality results on time
Previous experience in ecommerce or operations is valuable but not required. What matters most is your motivation, learning ability, attention to detail, and proactive mindset.
