Child Minder

Title: Child Minder Company: Venture Resources Location: Durban, South Africa Contract Details: Full-time Venture Resources is seeking a reliable and caring Child Minder to join our team in Durban, South Africa. As a full-time Child Minder, you will be responsible for providing quality care and supervision for children in our care. Key Responsibilities: - Create a safe, nurturing and stimulating environment for children - Supervise and monitor children's activities at all times - Plan and implement age-appropriate activities and playtime - Prepare and serve meals and snacks for children - Assist with basic hygiene and self-care tasks, such as diaper changes and toilet training - Communicate effectively with parents and provide regular updates on their child's progress - Maintain a clean and organized play area - Ensure the safety and well-being of children at all times - Follow all company policies and procedures - Attend required training and meetings as directed by management Requirements: - Minimum of 1 year experience in child care or related field - High school diploma or equivalent - CPR and First Aid certification preferred - Knowledge of child development and age-appropriate activities - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to multitask and handle emergency situations calmly and efficiently - Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening - Must be reliable and punctual - Must have a genuine love and passion for working with children We offer a competitive salary and benefits package, as well as a supportive and positive work environment.
