Accountant / Senior Accountant General Ledger

The Role

• Prepare and publish timely monthly financial statements
• Involve in all accounting operations including, A/R, A/P & GL
• Execute monthly, quarterly, and year-end closure processes
• Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting
• Work closely with the Finance Manager / Financial Controller & client teams
• Assist in training of new staff
• Prepare and finalise periodic VAT, WHT and corporate tax computations

The Person

• Final level of CA Sri Lanka / CIMA / ACCA or Degree holder in Commerce / Business Management / Finance from a reputed university
• Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a similar capacity
• FRSs working knowledge
• Experience working with reputed ERP systems (Oracle and HFM preferred)
• Advanced Excel skills
• Ability and willingness to work based on client calendar and working hours
• Fluency in English, both written and verbal
• Age between 25-40
