Project Engineer (Southern/Northern)

We are an established Solar company driven by a group of passionate individuals to inspire sustainable living among Malaysians by reducing electricity bill commitment & creating a greener world via NEM Solar PV.

We are currently looking for a Project Engineer to join our team!

Responsibilities:

• Perform general maintenance tasks, including electrical system and building wiring, as well as conducting quality checks on building equipment linked to solar systems.
• Supervise site matters, coordinate with subcontractors, and maintain documentation of site activities. Liaise with project teams and resolve construction and design issues promptly.
• Organize progress meetings, collaborate with clients, sub-contractors, and professional associates, and record site matters and changes for documentation purposes.
• Train and audit new installers for rooftop installations.
• Perform any other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Possess at least a Professional Certificate, Diploma, or Degree in Engineering.
• Demonstrated understanding of solar energy systems, products, and the overall industry landscape.
• Excellent communication skills in English and Malay, both spoken and written. Proficiency in Mandarin is a plus.
• Ability to handle stressful situations and resolve conflicts efficiently, maintaining professionalism and composure.
