About the job Audit Manager

Job Responsibilities:

  1. Independently manage a portfolio of audit clients and leading a team to provide a high level of service to the clients.
  2. Managing the audit team and ensure that all audit assignments are carried out effectively, efficiently and meeting deadlines.
  3. Preparing job allocation planning and manage the capacity of staff force.
  4. Review audit files.
  5. Review audit planning and identify potential problem areas for audit.
  6. Monitor working procedures and ensure that audit jobs are carried out in accordance with the firms standards, policies and guidelines.
  7. Provide training, guidance and mentoring team members on their personal growth and career progression.

Job Requirements:

  1. Bachelors degree in Accounting or equivalent, and/or professional qualifications such as MICPA, ACCA, or CPA Australia.
  2. Member of the Malaysian Institute of Accountants (MIA).
  3. Minimum 8 years of relevant working experience in the related field, including 3 to 4 years in a supervisory role.
  4. Strong verbal, written communication, and presentation skills.
  5. High level of technical proficiency and analytical skills.
  6. Excellent leadership and team management capabilities.
  7. Good planning and organizational skills, with the ability to multitask effectively.
  8. Proactive, innovative, and self-driven.
  9. Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and staff.
  10. Strong sense of integrity and a positive working attitude.
