Position Overview:
As a Licensed Veterinary Technician at Kindness Animal Hospital, you will play a critical role in supporting our veterinarians and ensuring each patient receives high-quality, efficient care. Key Responsibilities:
- Place and maintain IV catheters efficiently and accurately
- Perform radiographic imaging, including dental radiographs, ensuring proper positioning and safety standards
- Conduct in-house laboratory diagnostics, including fecal analysis, urinalysis, blood smears, and cytology
- Assist with surgical procedures, including patient preparation, anesthesia monitoring, and post-operative recovery
- Provide accurate medical documentation and maintain detailed patient records
- Educate clients on home care instructions and post-treatment protocols
- Support a clean, organized, and well-stocked clinical environment
Qualifications:
- Current Veterinary Technician License in the state of [State]
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a clinical veterinary setting
- Proficiency in IV catheter placement, radiology, dental radiology, and laboratory procedures
