Position Overview:

We're seeking a motivated Rental Sales Specialist to join our Charlotte team. This role focuses on managing and growing our equipment rental business through both existing and new customer relationships.

Essential Functions:

Service Existing Customer Accounts
- Manage and grow relationships with current rental customers
- Learn equipment specifications and capabilities through provided training
- Monitor and optimize asset utilization

Business Development:

- Proactively generate interest for available rental assets
- Cold-call prospective rental customers
- Revive dormant rental customer accounts
- Implement strategic revenue growth initiatives

Rental Operations Management:

- Create and maintain accurate rental documentation in SAP
- Coordinate equipment delivery and pickup
- Process rental contracts and billing
- Assist with accounts receivable and maintain target DSO
- Manage purchase orders and accounts payable
- Oversee HYG fleet program

Required Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree preferred or 2+ years of sales experience
- Proven inside sales experience with track record of exceeding quota
- Strong phone presence and high-volume calling capability
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
- Experience with or ability to learn SAP, Salesforce, and ServiceMax
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Customer service oriented with problem-solving abilities

Physical Requirements:

- Ability to lift and move up to 25 pounds
Mix of standing, walking, and sitting throughout the day
May occasionally work in various environmental conditions
