Head Veterinary Nurse | Up to £42,000 DOE | Waltham Forest, London

The Vet Office is recruiting a Head Veterinary Nurse to lead the nursing team at a modern, well-established small animal practice in Waltham Forest, London.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced RVN who enjoys supporting colleagues, developing a team and delivering excellent clinical care.

The role

• Permanent, full-time position.
• 39 hours per week, with a four-day working pattern.
• Duty nights and a 1-in-4 weekend rota.
• Salary up to £42,000 per year, depending on experience.
• Lead and support RVNs, student veterinary nurses and animal care colleagues.

The practice

You will join a friendly team of six vets, six RVNs, two student veterinary nurses and one animal care assistant.

The veterinary team's clinical interests include internal medicine, advanced soft tissue surgery and diagnostic imaging. With an approximately equal split of canine and feline patients, this is also an appealing opportunity for someone interested in feline nursing.

About you

You will be a Registered Veterinary Nurse with solid clinical experience, strong communication skills and the confidence to lead and motivate a team.
