About the Practice

Situated in the bustling town of Hucknall, just outside Nottingham, the practice enjoys excellent transport links while maintaining a relaxed, suburban atmosphere. 

The practice itself is home to a close-knit team of 3 experienced Vets, 4 supportive Nurses, and 4 friendly Receptionists. Known for its warm and welcoming atmosphere, the team also enjoys the occasional social outing together.

The Ideal Candidate

  • A qualified Veterinary Surgeon with current RCVS registration

  • Experienced in small animal first opinion practice in the UK

  • Confident in both consultations and surgical procedures

  • A surgical interest or certificate holder would be welcomed

  • Potential opportunity for progression into a Lead Vet role for the right individual

  • Full-time applicants are preferred, though part-time options can be discussed

  • Weekend rota participation (either 1:3 or 1:4) with time off in lieu

  • Excellent communication skills, with a passion for animal welfare and high standards of patient care

  • Strong team player who can also work independently
