A modern, well-equipped small animal practice in Galway is seeking a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join its experienced, supportive team. This role offers the opportunity to work in both referral and first-opinion care, with strong emphasis on clinical development, teamwork, and work-life balance.

The Role

  • Schedule: 40 hours/week, Monday to Friday

  • Weekend Rota: 1 in 4 Saturdays

  • No Out-of-Hours: No OOH or on-call responsibilities

  • Start Date: July 2025

The position offers hands-on involvement in a wide range of clinical areas, including anaesthesia, inpatient care, diagnostics, surgical assistance, and referral cases such as orthopaedics, internal medicine, and advanced dentistry.

Requirements

  • Registration: Must be a qualified Veterinary Nurse eligible to register with the Veterinary Council of Ireland

  • Flexibility: A drivers license is required for occasional travel between sites
