An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Head Vet to join a forward-thinking and passionate team in a well-established veterinary surgery in Waltham Forest, London.
As Head Vet, the successful candidate will play a pivotal role in both clinical leadership and the wider management of the practice. This role is ideal for an experienced veterinary surgeon who combines excellent clinical capabilities with a natural flair for leadership.
They´ll be responsible for driving clinical standards, mentoring and inspiring a talented team, and helping deliver on a clear and ambitious strategic vision for the surgery. A collaborative approach, passion for evidence-based medicine, and a commitment to delivering gold standard care are essential.
The current team includes 1 Senior Vet, 4 Vets, and 6 RVNs, with expertise ranging from orthopaedics to exotics and BOAS surgery. With a balanced caseload of dogs and cats, this position is well suited to someone with a keen interest in both general practice and more specialised areas such as feline medicine.
