A friendly, well-established small animal practice in Oakengates is seeking a Veterinary Surgeon to join its supportive team. The clinic is led by a dedicated Branch Partner, working alongside a strong nursing team including a Head Registered Veterinary Nurse and an experienced receptionist. This is an excellent opportunity for a vet looking to work in a collaborative and relaxed environment.

Located in Telford, the area offers great local amenities including bars, restaurants, and retail at Southwater, and its just a 40-minute drive to Liverpool Airport, making it easily accessible.

Working Hours:

  • Full-time: 40 hours per week

  • 1 in 3 Saturdays

  • No out-of-hours or bank holiday commitments

What the Role Involves:

  • Providing high-quality clinical care during consultations and procedures

  • Offering clear communication and support to clients and their pets

  • Creating tailored treatment plans with transparency in cost

  • Collaborating closely with clinical and support teams

  • Supporting the professional development of team members

  • Ensuring excellent compliance with regulatory and operational standards

  • Contributing to the wider clinical community by sharing best practices

Candidate Requirements:

  • RCVS-registered Veterinary Surgeon

  • Strong team player with excellent interpersonal skills

  • Confident in delivering outstanding client and patient care

  • Comfortable working independently as well as collaboratively

  • Able to support and guide colleagues, including RVNs and support staff

  • Familiarity with nurse consultations and Schedule 3 procedures is a plus
