Salary: Up to 40,000 FTE, commensurate with experience

Position Overview
A Veterinary Clinic is currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Veterinary Nurse to join the team on a fixed-term basis to cover maternity leave, commencing in September 2025. This role presents an excellent opportunity to gain valuable experience within a supportive and forward-thinking practice.
Key Responsibilities

Assist veterinary surgeons during consultations and surgical procedures

Monitor anaesthesia and provide post-operative care

Carry out diagnostic tests and laboratory work

Deliver nursing care and support to hospitalised patients
-
Educate pet owners on preventive care, nutrition, and general wellbeing
-
Maintain accurate patient records and ensure regulatory compliance
-
Run nurse clinics including suture removal, wound management, and weight clinics

Candidate Profile

Registered Veterinary Nurse (VCI registered)

All levels of experience considered (some experience required)

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work collaboratively within a team and independently
