Job Summary
This summer program offers highly motivated college students the opportunity to work one-on-one with professional researchers and technical staff on hands-on projects in space science and science operations. Participants contribute to real-world projects across a range of disciplines, including astrophysics research, scientific software engineering, instrument calibration, and science communication.
The program provides exposure to cutting-edge research topics such as solar system studies, galaxy formation and evolution, dark energy, and exoplanets. Students gain practical experience, mentorship, and insight into careers in scientific research and technical fields while contributing to ongoing scientific efforts.
Basic Requirements

Currently enrolled as an undergraduate or graduate student at an accredited college or university

Strong academic interest in astronomy, physics, computer science, engineering, data science, or a related field

Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a research or technical team environment

Strong problem-solving skills and curiosity about scientific research
