Job Description:
Summary
Promotes sportsmanship and fosters good character in student athletes while ensuring the safety and welfare of all participants. Supervises students in practice areas, locker rooms, buses, and at all times during the season. Demonstrates patience, tolerance, and diplomacy in interactions with players, parents, co-workers, officials, and spectators. Recognizes that interscholastic activities are an extension of the classroom, and models behavior that reflects this standard.
Key Responsibilities

Supervise and mentor student athletes during practices, competitions, and travel.

Minimum Requirements

NFHS Concussion Certificate
-
Current CPR with AED Certification (in-person only; online not accepted)

Current First Aid Certification (in-person only; online not accepted)

NFHS Sportsmanship Certificate

Act on Facts Suicide Prevention Training

Current Arizona IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card
-
Availability to work Saturdays as needed
Additional Requirements Upon Hire

Bloodborne pathogen training (provided after hire)

Proof of immunity to rubeola (measles) and rubella (German measles), or proof of MMR immunization
