Job Summary
The Field Service Representative is responsible for providing on-site technical support, including preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, calibration, installation, and customer training for analytical instruments. This role ensures equipment operates efficiently while delivering high-quality customer service and technical support.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Perform preventive maintenance on analytical instruments.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment issues.
- Repair and calibrate instruments at customer sites.
- Install equipment and ensure proper operation.
- Provide customer training on equipment usage and maintenance.
- Manage inventory related to service activities.
- Coordinate trip planning and scheduling for service visits.
- Complete administrative tasks related to field service operations.
- Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction and support.
- Work independently to resolve technical issues efficiently.
- Travel extensively to customer locations as required.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of experience troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining complex analytical instruments.
- Strong technical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work with electronic schematics, test equipment, and repair tools.
- Associate's degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
- Ability to work independently.
- Strong commitment to customer satisfaction.
- Availability for frequent overnight travel.
- Valid driver's license and passport.
