Job Title: Radiologic Technologist

Job Summary
Under general supervision, performs routine and specialized diagnostic radiologic procedures while ensuring patient safety, compliance with regulations, and delivery of high-quality imaging services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Execute basic clinical competence in general radiology, including fluoroscopy, across all patient types and locations.

  • Select accurate technical factors on an individual basis and provide age-appropriate patient care.

  • Apply knowledge of radiology principles, including anatomy, physiology, radiation protection, physics, radiographic positioning, and patient care skills.

  • Adhere to Joint Commission, state, federal, and departmental compliance standards.

  • Document accurate patient care activity in electronic health records systems.

  • Maintain a safe work environment, monitor supplies and inventory, and report equipment or environmental issues per policy.

  • Follow quality control procedures for imaging equipment with appropriate documentation.

  • Actively participate in performance improvement initiatives to enhance workflows, patient experience, and quality.

  • Support student and employee training and education efforts.

Qualifications

Education:

  • Associate degree or certificate in radiologic technology from an accredited program (recognized by USDE or CHEA).

Experience:

  • No prior experience required.

Licensures/Certifications:

  • Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT).

  • Licensed Radiographer (State requirement).

  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
