Project Engineer

Job Summary:
Manage engineering projects and staff while performing technical analyses, coordinating tasks, and ensuring project objectives are met on time and within scope.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform or guide technical analysis for assigned projects, making sound decisions based on established engineering principles and supervisory guidance.

  • Assess project requirements, define objectives and constraints, develop budgets, conduct feasibility studies, manage staff, and provide training and presentations as needed.

  • Develop project schedules, set milestones, and coordinate tasks to ensure timely project completion.

  • Monitor project progress, ensure compliance with approved scope, and serve as the primary point of contact for project inquiries.

  • Review proposed changes for impact on project design, budget, or schedule.

  • Prepare reports and presentations that translate technical data into clear and concise formats.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering.

  • Minimum of 6 years of relevant engineering experience, or equivalent education and experience.

  • Proficient in AutoCAD, including Civil 3D, GIS, and Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Professional Engineer (PE) registration required.

  • Ability to gather, organize, and analyze engineering data and produce comprehensive reports.

  • Proven capability to manage multiple engineering functions efficiently, work effectively in a team, and demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills.
