Job Description:
Overview
Seeking an OPSEC Technical Analyst to identify and mitigate risks to sensitive information. This is an on-site position located at Lackland AFB, TX.
Responsibilities

Correlate threat data from multiple sources to establish the identity and modus operandi of hackers posing potential threats.

Provide assessments and reports to support situational awareness and understanding of current cyber threats and adversaries.

Develop cyber threat profiles based on geographic region, country, group, or individual actors.

Produce cyber threat assessments through entity threat analysis.

Provide support for high-technology investigations, including evidence seizure, forensic analysis, data recovery, and network assessments.

Maintain proficiency in tools, techniques, countermeasures, and trends in vulnerabilities, data hiding, network security, and encryption.

Identify and mitigate risks to sensitive information by analyzing threats, vulnerabilities, and potential impacts.

Develop and implement OPSEC plans, assess security measures, and ensure compliance with relevant policies, standards, and classification guidance.

Conduct regular reviews of facilities, assets, and activities to verify OPSEC effectiveness.

Educate USAF personnel on OPSEC principles, methodologies, and best practices.
Qualifications

High school diploma with 69 years of relevant experience (or equivalent).
Required Skills and Experience
-
Active TS/SCI clearance.

6+ years of experience developing and implementing OPSEC plans.

Knowledge of USAF/DoD OPSEC principles and practices.

Familiarity with USAF/DoD policies and regulations.
