Job Description:

Overview

Seeking an OPSEC Technical Analyst to identify and mitigate risks to sensitive information. This is an on-site position located at Lackland AFB, TX.

Responsibilities

  • Correlate threat data from multiple sources to establish the identity and modus operandi of hackers posing potential threats.

  • Provide assessments and reports to support situational awareness and understanding of current cyber threats and adversaries.

  • Develop cyber threat profiles based on geographic region, country, group, or individual actors.

  • Produce cyber threat assessments through entity threat analysis.

  • Provide support for high-technology investigations, including evidence seizure, forensic analysis, data recovery, and network assessments.

  • Maintain proficiency in tools, techniques, countermeasures, and trends in vulnerabilities, data hiding, network security, and encryption.

  • Identify and mitigate risks to sensitive information by analyzing threats, vulnerabilities, and potential impacts.

  • Develop and implement OPSEC plans, assess security measures, and ensure compliance with relevant policies, standards, and classification guidance.

  • Conduct regular reviews of facilities, assets, and activities to verify OPSEC effectiveness.

  • Educate USAF personnel on OPSEC principles, methodologies, and best practices.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma with 69 years of relevant experience (or equivalent).

Required Skills and Experience

  • Active TS/SCI clearance.

  • 6+ years of experience developing and implementing OPSEC plans.

  • Knowledge of USAF/DoD OPSEC principles and practices.

  • Familiarity with USAF/DoD policies and regulations.
