Job Summary

Responsible for performing highway and bridge maintenance operations, inspections, concrete repair, structure maintenance, and related construction activities. The role requires adherence to safety standards, maintenance procedures, and applicable regulations while supporting roadway infrastructure projects. Extensive travel may be required to support maintenance and repair operations.

Responsibilities

  • Perform bridge and structure maintenance activities.
  • Conduct highway and bridge inspections.
  • Complete concrete repair, formwork, and placement tasks.
  • Perform roadway and tollway maintenance operations.
  • Operate hand and power tools safely and effectively.
  • Follow company policies, procedures, and safety regulations.
  • Maintain proper safety equipment for assigned tasks.
  • Travel to project locations as required.
  • Support maintenance and repair projects under varying environmental conditions.
  • Utilize smartphones and applications for work-related tasks and reporting.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Minimum 1 year of construction industry experience.
  • Minimum 1 year of bridge maintenance, structure construction, concrete placement, or repair experience.
  • Roadway or tollway maintenance experience.
  • Ability to pass background screening and drug testing.
  • Knowledge of local driving regulations.
  • Ability to perform basic arithmetic calculations.
  • Ability to use smartphones and related applications.
  • Ability to adapt to changing schedules and multitask.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly and perform strenuous physical labor.
  • Ability to work in varying weather and environmental conditions.
  • Ability to operate hand and power tools.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with computer and smartphone applications.
  • MOT (Traffic Control) Certification.
  • Clean driving record.
  • CDL Class A License.
